Since this is suppose to be a postive blog, let me applaud the city of Arkansas City for making the downtown beautification happen. A few wilted flowers don't detract from the overall accomplishment! Also kudos to the two women I saw in yellow rain slickers prunning some of the flowers and plants last week!
Were they, perhaps, the same women who helped your kids in the previous post?
Good job to the people who have businesses downtown that water their pots outside their stores. Keeping these plants watered is going to take a team effort. So I hope that other business fall in line and help out too.
