This should be interesting.

I wish the republican party, of which I am a member, would get back to the small effective government, lower taxes - platform and get away from all the hate of this person and that person. Then maybe we could win a national election again. As long as we stay with hate I think we are doomed, especially with the younger voters.

Warren is a hateful bigot who likens consensual homosexual relationships to pedophilia and incest. He was a very public figure who supported prop 8 in California. He believes allowing same sex marriages will result in censoring churches to preach anti-homosexual messages.

He compares abortion to the holocaust but said on Sean Hannity that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should be assassinated.

He also believes that atheists should not be allowed to hold public office.

The man disgusts me personally but I am wise enough to discern his speech will be thoroughly vetted by the Obama team. It's a political move on Obama's part to be inclusive (i.e. he is pissing everyone off)!!

I'm sorry, but alot of the gays/lesbians are acting pretty hateful lately too...that's just as bad.

I am curious, what gay and lesbians have been acting up lately? I must of missed it.

I am greatly annoyed by Ellen Degeneres' dancing and Rosie O'Donnells - well - anything - but other than that I cannot really think of anything.

In my opinion, they have been acting up in California over the whole Prop 8 thing. The general population voted for the ban on same sex marriage, so the minority are postesting, saying it is not fair, and they want the CA Supreme Court to overturn the vote.

How about the protests in California. I think that is what the poster was referencing. Take off the blinders and realize that Obama is just another politician who will do and say anything to get elected, and then will do whatever he wants, until he wants elected again of course.

Too bad he didn't choose Jeremiah Wright. I'd love to hear some more about how white people gave the black people AIDS and all that. GDAmerica!

Remember what the Muslims did over a cartoon recently? Oh, and don't forget the Muslim outrage over a child's teddy bear.
Everyone knows the Muslims will set the ship on fire if they perceive they have been offended.

Hey dude @12:41, I already knew what the bible says about homosexuality (or, as it says, un-natural acts, and I'm not even a bible-thumper to figure that out). I was just commenting that the Quran says it also, and no-one is complaining about how they most likely have murdered (or are murdering) hundreds, if not thousands of homosexuals in Islamic countries, especially Shia-controlled ones. Not one out-cry. And then if even a Christian-based organization in the US even looks funny at a homosexual, everyone crys about a civil-rights violation. What I was saying, is we have a double standard in the US, where the phrase "seperation of church and state" only seems to apply to Christ-based religions. If you can point me to an article or instance in the press in the past couple of years where it disproves my statement, then I will rescend my statement. I am betting you will find it hard to do so.

I believe when a religious institution bankrolls campaigns in order to influence voters, they open themselves up to criticism. I think you need to contextualize your argument then gauge the merit of said criticism.

Additionally, Christianity is the predominant religion in the United States therefore produces proportionally more issue activists. The more exposed an institution is, the more criticism it will likely incur.

As a college student who studies these countries and the 'cultures; that 12:41 and 'faux' (which you probably mean FOX) I can tell you you sound like an illiterate idiot. Culture and religion is different and you seem to believe something that you heard on one of your few minutes of news bite.

Why don't you read a book then comment.

Hey "Dude" @ 1:52, I wasn't talking about homosexuality (I think thou dost protest too much!). I was talking about how you threw out in a negative way that the Quran "probably" says to stone homosexuals. But in the Holy Bible it says to stone your children if they are simply rebellious.

Deuteronomy Chapter 21

21:18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:

21:19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;

21:20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

21:21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.

So, you see, I was not talking about homosexuality, but simply stating that before you insult other religions for things you deem wrong, maybe you should check out your own first to make sure they don't say something just as dumb.
