You had a feeling there was much more Lane wanted to say about his dealings with city commissioners, etc. during the turmoil earlier this year.

The Municpal League of Kansas seems to have some good information on Mr. Massey. I wonder what they know that the "former" commission didn't want us to know? Thank God they were voted out!
The formers commission wanted everyone gone that didn't agree with them!
Ark city will miss him. It seems he had a great vision and worked extremely hard to make the improvements happen all over town. Over the last decade he helped get bike trails, jobs, new baseball fields, pool, roads, water/sewer, levee and countless other improvements. I remember seeing his name in the paper all of the time for bringing in tens of millions of grant funds. I would say that I hope we can replace him but it appears they are doing away with numerous jobs and people that actually cared about the community. I would like to thank him for all the good he did for the community.
The Municipal League of Kansas is funded primarily by the cities. There good information tends to be a little slanted.
Our community is really losing a great asset and a good family. Mr. Massey did some amazing things for Ark City. Our loss is Larned's gain.
