Hartman for Goyle

Pompeo is right. If Hartman entered the race as a libertarian, it would up Goyle's chance of winning the 4th Congressional District, because it would split conservative votes. This story is a pretty good inside look at the issue. It also is a lesson in the need to reach out to opponents after a primary to solidify party support. The bad blood between Pompeo and Hartman probably make that difficult on a personal level.

That would be such a chicken$*&^ move on Hartman's part that I don't think he'd get many votes after pulling a stunt like that. Some people are just sore losers.

Notice that Goyle did vote for healthcare. I wonder why he's not running on that?

He also voted against requiring ID to vote.

Don't know that there is anything more trite and insignificant than US politics in 2010.

"Don't know that there is anything more trite and insignificant than US politics in 2010."

LOL. Spoken like a true Democrat who knows their party is going down hard!

Guess again. Mid-right (not bagger-right).

Anon at 502pm.....Don't you know that if you're not "bagger right" nowadays...you're not a "real" Republican? They will eat you alive, because you know, it's the "Christian" thing to do.

Well, by your definitions I would be "Bagger-Right" because I believe in less government, less spending by government, less government interference, lower taxes, the second amendment, and I am pro-life.

But I am not a christian, and couldn't care less what the "christian thing to do" is. I hold my beliefs because they are the right thing to do, not because some old book tells me to.

We got a call from a Goyle rep over the weekend. He was asking how we felt about Obamacare and Goyle's views. When we said that we were against Obamacare, and that it was going to hurt the country, the guy said Well, did you know that Raj Goyle is against the Westburough Baptist Church and their funeral protests? And we were like REALLY? Who in their right mind ISN'T against Fred Phelps and his merry band of idiots? haha It was funny to me that he went from Obamacare to Fred Phelps to try to find something he stood for that people agree with.
