Still thinking

Kasha Kelley told me today she's still considering whether to run against Greta Goodwin for Senate. She's mulling three options, she said, standing for reelection to the House, running for the Senate, or taking time off to raise her newborn son. Said lots of supporters want her to run against Greta and she's getting the question every day.

If anyone can beat Goodwin it is Kasha.

Her son will only be small once though.

I think that Kasha's two terms have given her an insight into the system and the limitations of a junior member. She should gauge how much she can accomplish as a junior Senator as opposed to an experienced Representative. I would strike now - next time around there could well be a more powerful opposition.

"I would strike now...."

I agree on this. Kasha is a very viable candidate (in my opinion), and well liked by a lot of people.

If family considerations permit, I would say....."GO FOR IT, KASHA!!!"

You got my vote.

If Kasha decides not to run I sure hope someone else challenges Goodwin.
I've often thought that it's nice that Winfield has a Senator and too bad the rest of her district doesn't have any representation in the Kansas Senate.
