Go vote on Tuesday. Regardless of your affiliation. Urge your friends to vote... Take a neighbor with you (especially if they're elderly or disabled).

The turnout may set new all-time records and that is a good thing for us all. It's time to make certain that we all have a voice in the decisions that affect us in every facet of our lives.

Political decisions and election cycles are never nice and tidy little pieces of our democracy. This cycle appears uniquely contentious locally and nationally (perhaps that's a result of two previously close and one controversial national election). But...on the good side of the equation...people ARE talking and thinking and getting involved.

Incumbents have a record they must defend. Challengers offer voters the hope to differ from the incumbent's proven ideology.

Vote. You'll keep your own conscience clear.

Anyone know why every other candidate has itemized statements on spending and Kasha has mainly just loans to herself listed as "Campaign Expenses"?

She won't have to disclose them for eleven months, by then, voters have already voted and it becomes a moot point. Don't forget, she all for transpareny, except for when it comes to campaigning and political contributions from entities such as American's for prosperity...

Give it up already. Your constant slams of Kelley are doing no good. She will win.

She might win- But Mr. Burr is sure giving her a run for her donated money. Maybe this will be a wake up call to her that she needs to start doing a better job in Topeka.

whatever. when the landslide takes place it is you who will wake up. that your dirty tactics don't have traction in middle America where the voters are informed.

Do more in Topeka? She has done more in her short time there than many other Reps. You are so uninformed- go check previous office holders and what they've achieved, compare it to her record and what she's voted for- I'll bet you don't know, and yet you have a lot to say. She works hard to be there to vote as often as she can on the issues and has made some real strides for being in office for a short time- its easy to jump on the other guys bandwagon though-how is his record anyway? Oh, yea, he doesn't have one- he doesn't even represent the facts when he tells his lies in phone surveys either- which is why this dem voted for Kasha today.

Curious, until Gene Burr ran the local races have been much more tidy -- and friendly! Guess we won't be hearing more from you since your husband was defeated?
