I was listening to the radio and heard about the Illinois record on teaching sex education to 5-8 year olds. (I believe they state is as level 1 sex education) I was taken aback slightly. (aprroved by Senator Obama)
I pray that Kansas does not have the same requirements. As, I feel that it's a 'little too much'.
Here's afact check on this story. I'm quite sure Kansas doesn't have this policy.

I also was taken back 20 years ago when they started teacher my daughter in grade school, right here in ark city, And when the first boy touched her because of something they were shown or told I went to school and got crazy mad with the staff the boy and the boy's parents for thinking it was nothing. They got be very careful they are not giving some kids very bad thoughts at to young of age.
Obama's support for this policy had nothing to do with teaching Kindergartners how to have sex. It had everything to do with teaching young kids to know the difference between "good touching" and "bad touching." Of course, non-perverted families have this conversation with their kids at this exact age and nobody has a problem with it. We call this 'good parenting.'
Since (in most cases of child sexual abuse) most of the 'bad touching' occurs at home, we can't rely on perverted, or ignorant parents to teach kids the difference. So, what's John McCain's or Sarah Palin's solution to this problem? Keep pushing it under the rug?
An interesting point to make regarding this subject. Alaska has the highest incident rate (per capita) of any state of child sexual abuse and incest. Perhaps such a policy (as the one discussed in Illinois) needs to be in place in Ms. Palin's home state.
Thanks curious, I simply wanted clarification. I honestly do appreciate your response.
