Wonder how much the chamber of commerce in Salina will pay to have at their annual banquet. Seems awfully political. Retired politicians makes sense, or perhaps even sitting politicians from your own city or state. But Palin is a lightening rod in American politics right now. Local chambers are usually pretty careful to avoid taking political sides.
On the other hand, she'll draw a big crowd.
Maybe Ark City can get Rush Limbaugh

Really Ark City should try and get Glen Beck now there is THE MAN! Ok he may be a little over the top in getting his point across or expressing his opinion but the guy is right on. His comparison about the founding fathers and the Obama socialist/communists movement!! Right on. Plus I think the founding fathers should come back and PIMP slap Obama and ask him WTF?? However, they would probably do something else to him though!
If Rush came to Ark City, there wouldn't be any local politicians or newspaper men smart enough to be able to understand what he said!
