Tiahrt the tea partier

Todd Tiahrt has flipped his lid, and decided whole hog to join forces with the paranoid, tea party crowd, if these comments from Wichita Eagle editorial page are correct.

Since Obama was electd, Tiahrt has become a radical partisan, demagoguing about communism and socialism and betting on a revived conservative movement to win the GOP primary for U.S. Senate.

Is he right?

Sounds like he hit the nail on the head to me. But, for someone who wants socialism or communism, I can see how you would want to discourage people from voting for him. I don't think it will work though. I think he speaks for the majority of people he represents. People who are tired of seeing our country being taken over by government. Tired of seeing our country inch further toward communism every day. If that makes me a "teabagger", then so be it. I am surrounded by like minded "teabaggers" in this town. It's you liberals who ought to be worried. And obviously you are, or you would not continue your attacks on Tiahrt so regularly.

A wonderful place that summarizes all the reasons I dislike Todd Tiahrt.

Proud to be a Kansas tea party participant. You liberals won't be laughing after the next election.

"So what makes him different from ANY OTHER politician, Rachael??"

Isn't it obvious? He's a conservative.

He thinks babies in the womb are still babies, people should work for what they want, and the government is too big already. Oh,. and he doesn't want America to be a socialist country. D@MN HIM!

Why is it when conservatives protest against higher taxes and bigger government, they are all called racists and unAmerican? Why is so hard to just admit that this president is making big time mistakes? When W. started all this bail out crap, I was one of the first to rail against such a stupid idea. When bush was to light on immigration, Conservatives jumped up in droves to critisize him. When he grew the govt. by creating a whole new part of it, I was just as angry as the next guy, and as I remember, the dems were pretty upset too. I thought that the reason the GOP lost in 06 and 08 was because of those very reasons. But now, we have a president and congress that are donig the exact same things, just 10 fold, and when conservatives protest it, its critisized by the very same people that were upset about it before. Is it because W. didnt grow the govt. enough? Did he not spend enough? As a conservative I have always been against these type of things, but when I state my position on these issues, I get called racist just because our president is black. Why? Dont we have the same rights as dems do to protest? Are we not supposed to be heard? And whats so bad about not wanting our taxes raised?
