Some on the right are lit up by Obama's appointment of Carol Browner as top energy and environment advisor because she sat on a committee on climate change set up by a group called Socialist International.
Got the world "Socialst" afterall. That can't be good!
There may be more complexity to this hot button charge than meets the eye.

Yep, it must all be a vast right wing conspiracy. That's why Socialist international took her bio and most references of her down from their website a couple of days ago.
My understanding is that she was not just part of the environmental group, but also a leader of socialist international itself. So why the little dodge?
The only people standing between us & communism are Christians.
The Democrats moved into the socialist spot years ago.
The only things funded by the Founding Fathers were roads & the military.
Government schools are socialistic. Welfare too.
Social Security is a HUGE tax subsidized Ponzi scheme.
We don't need a climate czar.
What exactly will a climate czar do, and how much will she be paid to preach at the altar of global warming? Will they raise our taxes if we drive an SUV? Will we be punished for not recycling?
What will come of this?

OK, first of all, if a Christian actually understood the history of their own religion, they would know that the Apostles set up "communist" communities immediately after the earthly death of Jesus.
Acts 2:42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things in common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Acts 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. 33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. 34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, 35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need. 36 And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, 37 Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
Acts 4:32-35 "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had ... there were no needy persons among them ... the money ... was distributed to anyone as he had need."
Acts 2:42-47 "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching ... to the breaking of bread ... everyone was filled with awe ... all the believers were together and had everything in common ... they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they ... ate together with glad and sincere hearts ..."
Luke 1:49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. 50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. 51 He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. 52 He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. 53 He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.
One could go on and on citing New Testament passages that make "communism" the most ethical way of life for a Christian.
An example of communism in the Old Testament can be found in Leviticus 25:35-38 "If one becomes poor help him so he can continue to live among you. Do not take interest of any kind from him, but fear your God You must not lend him money at interest or sell him food at a profit. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God."
So, to make a long story short, a Christian can argue that communism is in the Bible and is moral and ethical if it is used for GOOD rather than GREED.
Google early Christian Communists to educate yourself on the topic...rather than immediately cringing when the word is mentioned.

It was just a job, get over it, who said she supported what they were doing she just wanted a challenging job that paid her well. Who among us would pass down a six figure job in today market. Some people just get involved in a company just for money!!!And prestige

yes money is the reason people do most things!!! Would you do the job if you were getting piad a couple of grand a year. And before you get on the high horse I know money not everything to everybody but to the majority it is or else there would not be such a uproar about the economy falling and stock falling or even how am I going to be able to retire. The answer is make money as much as you can as fast as you can and let the moral stuff worry you later
So, if I offered you $1,000 a day to walk up and down Summit street with a sandwich board that said "I HATE AMERICA", or some other incendiary statement (Think Die Hard 3), you would do it, because money is all that drives you? Come on! You don't think someone who is NOT a socialist would sit on the board of a group call "Socialists International" do you? If you do, then I can't argue with you.
