Hospital humming along
Hospital took a big step today with sale of bonds and hiring of designer-contractor. There are big hopes for this project, both in terms of better health and economic development, and I don't see why they won't be realized. Not to mention a nice economic stimulus (created right here at home) when construction starts.

I will drive to Wichita or Winfield or Ponca before I let Ark City gouge me again on a simple ER visit. I had to wait longer than it took to set my arm, then it cost over $2000.00 for less than 30 minutes. Never again- I will have to be unconcious before being hauled to that damn place.
and the next place will undoubtedly be cheaper....NOT
your best bet is to stay healthy and avoid all hospitals because the cost will be the same or do it during regular office hours and just go to the doc and avoid the ER.
