What sort of world do you live in? The 'building boom' you cite as a good problem is largely based on tax revenue that will provide the new hospital and school facilities! I can only think of two private construction projects, the credit union and the new elec. co./salon, that are of any size.
How about a real news story about how little return in the way of local permanemt jobs have been created for such a large capital outlay??
Wasn't there 5 new homes in that as well? What about the new hair salon and electric shop on Summit? Maybe the new hospital will draw in more medical facilities, or at least other amenities (restaurant, motel, gas station, etc...)
