I vote on leaving it open so I can see what's coming and avoid an accident.
In our current culture, I pretty much agree with the "leave it oen". People will get used to it but I would hate to add another repsonsibility on to our City. This is just not a good time to doll things up. They can't afford it.
Plant a tree and some flowers.
Since it's the state's highway, won't the state be resonsible for anything in the middle of it?
