Blind bigorty part II

Again, another blatant display of racism against Obama by somebody who says they are not a racist.

It's interesting to see how brave and arrogant folks are when they don't have to use their name. More on topic, bigotry is alive and well in Kansas. It'll be interesting to see if the guy gets re-elected.

First of all, that is disgusting. Secondly, when will the opposition to health care reform, republican, democrat, or racist offer an alternative idea of value? By value I mean, anything other than attacking what's on the table (and opening up state lines will not stop insurance abuse). There is agreement that reform is needed, along with a healthy majority of the people favoring the public option, so why not put an idea out there to be discussed? It is becoming more and more apparent that it's about defeating President Obama rather than representing the American people.

When anyone voices an opinion that differs from this administration's opinion, it is racist!! The fact that the 'N' word was used has little to do with it.

I admit, the very first response on this topic (12:30pm) simply made me sad.

It pretty much says the notion of the US of A being a hallmark of the ideal, being advanced in the world is meaningless rhetoric.

A nice move away from "I am not a racist" to long live racial divisiveness. That someone would even utter a sincere tolerance for racial and human ignorance is deflating.

Even if we are not seeking the ideal of community living, we have lost the will to pretend (or hope).

i spent so much time defending Ark City as not being that way. That first comment says it all.

No Anon at 8:19 PM, that IS racist. It is not a differing opinion, it is an attempt to lower the station of our elected President. Speaking of differing opinions, what is a differing opinion to the health care debate? Other than to do nothing...

I don't condone racism of any kind, but why is it more acceptable coming from a minority than it is coming from a white person?

On one hand you have Black Entertainment Television (BET). Do we have White Entertainment Television? If it were even proposed, that would cause a firestorm in the media.

How about the Miss Black America pageant? If we were to propose a Miss White America pageant, we would be racist, yet it's okay for blacks to be seperate. And how many black Miss America winners have there been? a few.

The United Caucasion College Fund?

In this age of equality, it seems like we should be trying to get away from seperatist behavior.

Perhaps we can have "WET" and White Miss America when we are the minority... what a dumb thought process.

It's a dumb thought that it's okay for one group, but not for another? I think it's a valid point. Why is it okay for some, but not for all?

I will say it again, racism in Ark City really isn't that prevalant. You can see it all over town. Little white girls toting around a lil black baby on almost every other corner in town.
