So forming another a militia is another opinion. Timothy McVeigh had teh same ideas (opinions) a few years back.
Historically, Rs were around for some pivotal moments in humanitarian change. However, they forgot to tell their offspring that they really stood for human decency.
The most purest Republicans would evaluate the merit of each of President Obama's proposals. Today's republicans can't get past the colorof his skin.
Today's republicans not only oppose everythin he does but, when it's a good idea they distort it a lie about it in order to make it seem bad.
Today's republicans are a joke and are nothing more than the demon seed of bigots. Case in point, today's republican says, "I can't have my way? Come on Bubba. Let's get some guns (remember how he told the truth that you cling to your guns and tainted faith) and take that white house back."
As long as you call it the will of God and morality, today's republicans would burn babies to regain control. Today's republicans can't even admit that "W" failed in getting the right man so, as a religious favor, he killed the wrong man.
Even Dick Cheney shot a man in the face who notedly had a dissenting opinion on their administration's policies.
Favorite "W" line: "Let's not forget this is the man who tried to kill ma deddy." Today's republicans.... sheesh!!
5:29 am-Nice one! I assume all Republicans are radical Right (excuse me, conservatives), and all Democrats are radical Left (excuse, you woud prefer to be called "progressives"). Not all Repubs are like Hannidy, Limbaugh and Beck, and not all Demos relate 100% like Obermann and Maddow. I bet, in reality, that the Majority of people in this country are pretty even keeled, middle of the road. It is only the "fringe" right and left that get all the attention, because, like or not, the press likes to focus on that. Anger sells. I consider myself a middle of the road type person. Not registered with either party, but I tend to lean conservative. I think the Tea Party thing is a good idea; it make people think about stuff. Do I agree with what OK is doing? No. Do I really like the Health Care Bill that passed; no not really. Not because I think it a Socialist idea like some commentators say it is, but because I believe it was passed to say "it was passed". It could have been better. But, because of some pig-headedness (is that a word?)and some deceitfullness by both parties, and a hands-off approach of the President. He ran on this ticket, but he didn't really take control of it. If he had, maybe we would have had a better bill. I was hoping with the new President, it would unify our country, but failure to take control has lead to a more devisive country, with an active Tea Party movement, governors threatening to secede (Texas),and states threatening to create state militias (OK)
Anonymous said... I'm looking at you April 14, 2010 5:29 AM. You label all republicans as racist bigots.... Do I care what color his skin is? NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST. YOU are the bigot and you need to pull your head out.
April 14, 2010 8:59 AM
Ok bright eyes, now go back t 5:29am and see where anyone made any mention of race or racists. Me thinks bright eyes doth protext too much.
You opted to "add in" the term racist and project it onto someone else. however, I suppose it was just your guilty conscience.
Or, as the old folks would say, "If the shoe fits, wear it."
If it weren't your shoe, you are simply foolish for putting it on. So bigoted and foolish. Not to mention quite a bit too impetuous.
If I call you a hot head is that also a trigger word for racism in your opinion, bright eyes?
hee hee. OK, so these "crazies" think they should organize state militias to protect our country from our own government that they claim is trampling the Constitution. Do they realize, if they follow the Constitution to the letter like they espouse to do, they are organizing these militias to have President Obama be the Commander in Chief of the very militia organized to protect us from him? Read Section 2 of the Constitution:
The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States
So, they want me to join the TEA party fad to protest 90% of Americans paying less taxes than under a GOP President, 30 million more people with access to health care that would lessen the burden of state and federal tax dollars, joining with the world to make all nuclear products more secure, and many other things?
"Ok bright eyes, now go back t 5:29am and see where anyone made any mention of race or racists."
Well, OKAY. How about this??
"The most purest Republicans would evaluate the merit of each of President Obama's proposals. Today's republicans can't get past the color of his skin."
Or this???
"Today's republicans are a joke and are nothing more than the demon seed of bigots."
Maybe you aren't familiar with what the words you are using actually mean. Allow me to help.
big·ot (bĭg'ət) n. One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
Mama, Bright eyes is callin me names. Whaw whaw whaw!
IF you crack a book bright eyes you would understand the difference between a comma and a conjunction such as "and""or" "but".
Your definition listed several independent examples of what bigotry could be. However, in your profound educational lecture you again drew your own foolish conclusion that Bigot meant all inclusive. (especially racial).
So I will stick to mine that you are an ignorant and intolerant POLITCAL bigot whose conscience wants to be offended because you think someone knows you're a racist.
You're not a racist. You're only anonymous and we all know anonymous can't own an opinion because they don't even own an identity.
Now let's let you get back to your name calling and other demonstrations of your fullest ability to engage in an intelligent discussion.
As the original posts asserts, you're just an imposter pretending to be a Republican. You speak with no knowledge and are receptive to even less. I think one person succintly referred to yoru comments as evidence of a mantal diaper rash. Any introduction of information or thought to your mind just chafes you all the more.
You choose to be uninformed or to consider that other views than your own are valid also.
When someone challenges your lack of credibility, authenticity or (a conjunction here fyi) of your rants, you stick your fingers in your ears to drown out logic and start name calling.
What's behind them bright eyes of yours? Huh? Is it your guns and your faith? Or (another conjunction) is it just your gums and your fantasies.
"Your definition listed several independent examples of what bigotry could be." --- So, you're just gonna try to skip over the whole "color of his skin" remark huh?
Nice try. Everyone on here knows that you were calling all Republicans racist, no matter how you try to white wash it now. "Oh my God, you said "WHITE"... Racist!!!
Here's how it is. You called all republicans racist. I called you out on it. Then you said you didn't, and I showed you where you did. You lose.
***************
"You're not a racist. You're only anonymous and we all know anonymous can't own an opinion because they don't even own an identity." ----------- What's your name again? Oh yeah, ANONYMOUS! Great point you make there ANONYMOUS! lol
****************
"I think one person succintly referred to yoru comments as evidence of a mantal diaper rash." ----- 1.) I don't see that anywhere on this thread.
2.) What is mantal diaper rash? Can I assume you meant mental? Either that, or maybe you were talking about a "mantel" like above a fireplace? Either way, you misspelled it. And there you were trying to look so intelligent with all your big words. BTW, you spelled "succinctly" and "your" wrong too. Darn.
******************* "As the original posts asserts, you're just an imposter pretending to be a Republican." ---------- I didn't even write the first post genius. I started with the April 14, 2010 8:59 AM post. I was simply pointing out that not all Republicans should be lumped into the same group as these Oklahoma folks. And that your generalization of all Republicans as racist bigots was unfair and incredibly stupid.
April 16, 2010 5:13 PM And what was your point again Bright Eyes?
the first element of bigotry is the insistence on making any statement to be broadly applied to everyone.
It really doesn't matter what you think I said or I meant. I don't know you. Can't really identify a benefit to getting to know you. I certainly don't know every Republican and therefore could not call "every republican" a racist.
On the other hand, there is absolutely no way that I could be one who is disgusted with the extremist views of some who adulterate the ideas once held by Republicans. Or is there?
Maybe I am calling myself a racist? Or, perhaps I am not and that, once again, shows the ignorance and bigotry of the extremists which you and others espouse.
The bigotry label applies to any who tink one label fits all and defines some uniform code of thinking.
Consider that some REpublicans actually realize that certain policies by the current POTUS reflect 80% of what was once a platform of the R policy - specifically health care.
That is my point. Even when what the current POTUS does is close to what previous R POTUS' have done, you still complain and hurl unfounded insults.
today's r's (lower case intended for effect) simply no longer think. They just react and spew like a random volcano.
Today's r's have no consisitent agenda except to oppose ANY idea brought forth that they cannot claim authorship over.
Bigotry is a close minded approach that infers its opinion of others as true, assigns the worst motive to others and asserts that their way is the only right way.
Today's r's are so certain that they alone are right that they will lead this nation to ruination on a fast track and then immediately blame someone else. Today's r's are really today's P's
P = Pathological. So go ahead and secede from the union. Form your own militia. Storm D.C. and take back the Whitehouse by force. It seems right to you I'm sure. But, there is a way that seems right to men. But the end of that way is death.
Now tell me more about what I think and how I spell Bright Eyes!
I don't even need to respond to show the ignorance in that last post.. it's beyond obvious.
you said: "the first element of bigotry is the insistence on making any statement to be broadly applied to everyone."
To that I can only reply:
EXACTLY!!!!! THAT WAS MY POINT!
You painted all Rebublicans with the same brush, which was the reason I called you out in the first place. A lesson you obviously have not learned.
I am sure you meant the term Bright Eyes as an insult, but I like it. Every time I hear it I think of Charlton Heston in Planet of the Apes. Now there was a real American!
"FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!"
BTW, I won't be responding to your childish gibberish anymore. Stooping to your level makes my brain hurt. I think I lost some brain cells each time I read one of your posts. Luckily I started out with more than enough, otherwise I might become a liberal.

Yup! You win. You won on every point. You were right about what I said about what I thought. You are right. I am crazy.
Now, A wise man once said it this way: Anyone who would get into an argument with a crazy person already has their own set of problems.
Thank you, however, for setting me straight. God bless you my anonymous friend.
