Wine and wings?

Well what do you think of this, folks?

Sound pretty harmless to me. They've got good ideas for covering up the drinking area. (Not sold on wine and wings combo, buy hey, this ain't Central Park Manhattan, right?)

I have mixed feelings. One is I think they are good for getting off of main street itself but they should take advantage of the fact that Wilson Park is right by main street so more people may see it driving by. They can up up all the signs they want but most drivers will and possible should ignore them. I can see the argument maybe that many people go to the car shoe at Paris Park so maybe they think some will get confused and walk in.

As for the alcohol I think they are probably energizing some base supporters (many high class art places in bigger towns do they wine bit very often) but ignoring the actual majority of folks around here that are extremely conservative. They could alienate quite a bit of the support they get from more conservative organizations as well. Probably a risk they should not take. They would be better off getting some bigger name music acts in for the festival like they did about 7-10 years ago or so when the college was involved with the festival. Maybe if they get the wealthy (by AC standards) folks a bit lubricated they will throw around they money a bit more freely.
