Perception vs. reality

This is an interesting lesson in perception versus reality. Conservative Fox and radio commentator Sean Hannity lists Kathleen Sebelius as one of the "radicals" working for Obama. She's the Health and Human Services Secretary.

Huh?

You don't get elected Gov. in Kansas as a Democrat, twice, being radical. Hannity says her record on abortion makes her a radical. But with folks like Hannity, if you don't share their puritan views, you are labeled and categorized and reason and truth aren't relevant.

Sebelius is a radical. I'm still scratching my head as to how she got elected in Kansas. Lots of money?? I know Tiller was a big supporter of her.

A moderate is a left wing radical.

I just bought Hannity's book on your recommendation. Thanks. I will read it this weekend. Wal Mart has it for a good price.

10:45:

It reminds me of Dick Nixon's "silent majority" where he would tell America that everyone was on his side. What a moron.

Duh... She became Governor because more Kansans voted for her than anyone else.

It must be such a luxury to not have to think for oneself and just listen to a talk-show host to know who is a radical.

That one reminds me of Germany in the 30's.

April 9, 2010 8:54 PM,

When you have a train of thought running through your head, you can't just write down snippets from it and expect us to understand what you are talking about.

For example: "It reminds me of Dick Nixon's "silent majority"

What is "it"? WHAT reminds you of Nixon's silent majority?

and this one: "That one reminds me of Germany in the 30's." That one WHAT?

Come on, help me out a little. Please relize that I am just a dumb American who doesn't know what's best for me like Obama says, so you have to be a little clearer if you want to have a debate.

she is a lot more radical now then she was as governor. I'm glad she's gone....she was sooooooooo concerned about the state of Kansas and it's dire budget needs until Obama came knocking. Now she's just another yes person for the president.
