The Eagle on Goodwin-Abrams

Here's the Eagle's Q&A of the Senate race. Pretty informative.

Yep very interesting. I find interesting that Mrs. Goodwin didn't answer a lot of the questions. Also curious to those who say McCain is too old to be president yet Mrs. Goodwin is also in her 70's. Does that argument hold true here also...is she too old to hold public office?

I suppose there is a difference between a state senator and the US President. But, the arguement it is duly noted.

Ability should be based on the person, not the age. Therefore, I suppose if a person's individual age is limiting their ability, that is a factor. But to put a number on the age; that is a big net. At some point, everyone seems busy. Everyone tires. But where do a persons priorities lie?

What happens to her seat if she wins and then resigns at some point in the future?

I think you are confusing the "age" issue with policies that would take our country even further down the wrong path of destruction...

I saw an interesting poll today. The vast majority of McCain supporters will vote for him not because they like him and his policies, but rather because they see him as the "non-democrat." Pretty much sums it up...

Don't worry about it. Mrs. Goodwin will not win this election.

I quote Greta Goodwin, "I helped develop a new web site to assist the public in accessing the state budget. I strongly believe records, meetings, and transparency in government, local, state and national, should be available to all."

That is a bunch of baloney! I wish I'd saved the email I received from her when I asked about the transparency act that Kasha was working on. She was DEAD SET against it, and bad-mouthed Kasha in the process of telling me how unreasonable & expensive it would be!!

Wow! Turned out, it didn't cost taxpayers a penny. But, just the fact that now she takes credit for it is rude.

Sounds like a story to me.

Maybe the Traveler should consider asking Mrs. Goodwin for a comment? These are valid questions. Spoken by Mrs. Goodwin & documented on her website. Would the Traveler be willing to confront if it was Mr. Abrams caught in a lie? I wonder...

Greta's ad in the paper last night had 7 claims in it about her. 6 of the 7 were flat out lies. I just don't get it. The only "fact" was that she serves on powerful committees.

Goodwin voted against, and worked against transparency.

Yep, she voted and worked hard against transparency. Ditto with Jody's Law. I guess she thinks we're all idiots who will believe her rhetoric and not seek the truth.
Speaking of Jody's Law -- somewhere in this blog a few have said it wasn't a big deal. Read last night's Traveler to be reminded how wrong you are!
